This program was a consumer event held
periodically throughout the year in Orange
County, California. Terry hosted the event in
April, October, and December in 2005. As the
host, he kicked off the program by providing a
brief overview of three of the brand's most
recent additions to the line-up. Throughout the
year, the program included the CTS-V, SRX, STS,
STS-V, DTS, XLR, and the XLR-V. Often this was
a sneak-peek, coming weeks before the cars
arrived at the dealership. The cars were driven
onto the stage one-by-one and Terry provided
details of each.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Terry
invited the attendees outside for two
demonstrations performed by professional
drivers. Using the PA system, Terry explained
each exercise, provided color commentary during
its execution, and then summarized the results.
At that point, the participants were dispatched
to the driving courses.
Terry also hosted a similar program in
September for other GM brands. Those included
Buick and the new Lucerne, several GMC sport
utility vehicles, and Pontiac's GTO and
Solstice.
